WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter Z in a word. Bangor Marina has ZILLIONS of boats in it costing even more ZILLIONS of pounds!  Lemon ZEST is the yellow outside portion of its peel. It's often used with or without lemon juice to add tangy flavor to recipes. The SIZE of a Bumble Bee is small and this one was BUZZING from flower to flower.

I hope you enjoyed walking with me today.
I appreciate your visit and comments.
To update you on my knee injury, I have a torn ligament which is going to take months to heal but with exercise I will get there
I have an apology to make, last Saturday I DELETED the comments you kindly had sent.

I may not be able to comments as much as usual as I seem to be busier with my many groups so that no one gets cabin fever, so I hope you understand that.
Difficult times for everyone so stay safe.

  1. Love your reflection shot (as always).
I don't need to tell you to keep exercising. I hope your knee heals quickly and completely.

  3. Great photos and I want to jump into that first photo. Always love the combination of boats on water and pretty reflections they make. I am so sorry to learn of your torn ligament and will wish you speedy healing, even though I know these things take time. Have a very nice weekend :)

  6. Lots of fun with the Z's. Hope you have an E-Z recovery. I resisted surgery for a cartilage separation and sprain. One PT session was enough for me, as it only made me worse. Started with a cane and did plenty of straight-leg raising exercises but worked my way back to a sprightly walk.

  7. The boat picture and intense color of the water are beautiful! And the bee in the flower, what a superb catch!

  8. I hadn't thought of lemon Zest - the lemon peel makes me think of lemon-y delights like lemon meringue - such a treat! I posted a bumblebee in this week's post, I love watching the busy bees hard at work!

  9. ...delightful Zs Margaret. The does look like a ZILLION expensive boats. Lemon ZEST isn't something that I often use. Great capture of the buZZing bee on the dahlia. A speedy recovery to you!!!

  10. Again Margaret, you have a really nice Alphabet find. I Zest lemons and oranges for Mrs. Jim's baking. A helping hand for hers that can no longer play the piano or viola either. We both have arthritis but at differing body places for our worsts.
Our lemon tree has only two oranges this year, a tough spring for blossoms and bee populations. I don't know about our Texas Orange groves this year. For sure they didnt freeze as we didnt get cold enough again this year for that. But probably we wouldnt have fruit pickers due to our administration's border closings. "He" is for "Him" and I would like to say not
for his country. Time for a change. He reminds me of King Ludwig of Bavaria,
back to plunder and ruination of our country.
Stay Safe, looks like no Northern Ireland visit again from us.

  12. So much beauty around us, all we have to do is take the time to look for it and enjoy it.

As to the cost of boats, one of my favorite comic strips shows a man putting a bucket into the boot of his car, then getting on the highway where a sign tells him it is 300 miles to the coast.

When he arrives at the coast, pulling his car up to a boat, he gets out, pulls the bucket out, takes it over and throws the contents, money, into the back of the boat, then puts the bucket back and heads home.

When i tell that to boat owners, they inevitably laugh and say, "Yep, that's about right!"
