A Fairy on our Bowling Green!

One of the male residents dressed up as a “Fairy” for the  the opening of the Fairy Garden at “Over the Hill” and as he passed the bowling green he decided to hae a go at bowling!

THROUGH MY LENS

Recently at Botanica Lifestyle Resort they had the opening of the Fairy Garden at “Over the Hill”, a tropical forest just behind the houses.  These are some of the photographs and I will be showing you more later.  This is Jenny who is a resident and main organiser of this area along with a lot of help from many residents.  The second shot shows Trevor the tractor that was donated.  Over the past 5 years 2,500 trees have been planted and 206 different native species.  Stanley, who is 85 years old, helped to build these steps up to the Fairy Garden.

Time for WeekendReflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is R and Rusty. I did not think there was many RUSTY items about where I live however between Sue and I we came up with the 3 photographs below. 

The RUSTY Series by RUSKIN Bond is a semi-autobiographical collection of books following RUSTY, a sensitive, imaginative Anglo-Indian boy growing up in the foothills of the Himalayas.

It is a children book of adventures.  It is a comforting, wholesome, and easy READ with no graphic violence or bad language. Then I found a RUSTY bird and at  plant nursery.  

The final shot is my daughter's RED hair and I am linking it to the STREET PHOTOGRAPHY meme.

Completed Jigsaw

 Time for WeekendReflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is P and Plain . Firsstly I am showing you a book PUBLISHED by PELICAN called  the Complete PLAIN Words, followed by Barkly PLAIN.  In the next PHOTOGRAPH I  PARKED the car and PROCEEDED to take this shot of these PERPENDICULAR PALM trees.

The PENULTIMATE PHOTOGRAPH is an air  PLANT.

The final shot is one of  the ladies in our Bible class and it was her birthday that we all were celebrating.  She asked us all to wear something PINK and here she is herself in a PRETTY PINK outfit.  She is as PRETTY as a PICTURE. I am using it for my STREET PHOTOGRAPHY today.
