SUNDAY THOUGHT

Fire goes before them and follows them on every side! Ahead of them the land lies fair as Eden’s Garden in all its beauty, but they destroy it to the ground; not one thing escapes.

Joel 2:3

Many thanks for visiting and also for leaving any comments and stay safe.

Have a Blessed Sunday.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is I  and Ice.  On one of my recently walks round my town and these were the things I found beginning with I. Passing the Bank of IRELAND and the INDEPENTENT travel agents and INSURANCE brokers, I spotted this little IRIS reticulata, then noticed the sign for ICE cream, and in the Marina saw a yacht called IRONBORN with a lovely reflection, crossing the car park saw this car with the name IONIQ and finally looked at this INSULTATED jacket in a shop window.

Another morning in Bangor, County Down we had snow but it only lasted for 3 hours until the rain washed it all away.  However I managed to get these images before that happened.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is H  and Heavy. These photographs were taken in Belfast some time ago when we were not in lockdown.  This is a large Shopping store called HOUSE of Fraser .  On entering there is an enormous HEAVY sculpture of this lady.   I spot the largest and very HEAVY crane in the world called Samson as well as a HOLLOW sculpture. Along the River Lagan are HOUSES  and this image shows a great REFELCTION.  As I walk to the train, I pass the HILTON HOTEL and from the train, pass stations called HOLYWOOD and HELEN'S Bay.
