SATURDAY CRITTERS

I showed you a few of these Turnstone on Tuesday this week however I am showing you more of them today.  These photographs were taken as I walked along the Long Hole in Bangor

    I think Turnstones are one of the most confiding waders.Often, one will just pose there allowing the taking of a picture, unlike the "shanks". They have a great call don't you think Margaret? That rattling call as they fly around is very distinctive.
