THROUGH MY LENS

 When I was en route to Sweden, I spent a day in London with my family from Australia.  These are a few   images I took as we walked around London.  The Albert Memorial in Kensington Gardens is one of London's most ornate monuments. It commemorates the death of Prince Albert in 1861 of typhoid. The final shot if of Waterloo Station.  Next Monday i will show you statues I found there.

GOOD FENCES

When walking round London recently I photographed this old red telephone box and my grandson Daniel wanted a photograph of him inside it.  Can you “just” see him in the second shot? An unusal "fence" shot I agree!

When walking around Hyde Park in London, we stopped at this restaurant and I photographed this woman with the longest hair I have even seen.  Also I thought the ceiling lights were very unusual.

WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUNDUP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is I and Ice. All these IMAGES were taken when I visited Hyde Park, London when I was on  my way to Sweden.  I found two  old fashioned vans selling ICE cream. The third IMAGE shows an INTERESTING style of roof on that building and the final  IMAGE is my REFLECTION shot.
