WEEKEND REFLECTIONS AND THE WEEKEND ROUND UP

Time for Weekend Reflections and The Weekend Roundup and the letter is D and Dark. These photographs were taken at DAWN at Portavoe Reservoir. The DARK trees frame this image with the rising sun making a beautiful REFLECTION on the Reservoir DOWN and below that shot is a DUNLIN with DARK bellies.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

  6. I do like Dunlins in their summer plumage. So much more interesting than the Grey's of winter. Have a lovely weekend Margaret.

  9. Indeed the reflection on the water seems even prettier than that orange orb in the sky! I've never seen a Dunlin before but this bird is lovely with its multi-colors and long beak for catching dinner at low tide Col!

  12. Margaret, this is a very pretty sunset picture. I am not familiar with the Dunhill bird. Thanks for bringing it.
BTW, Mrs. Jim's sister died this morning with COVID-19. Sad day here.
