Portavoe Reservoir

I am still sharing photographs I took in Northern Ireland before my knee injury.  These photographs were taken at Portavoe Reservoir and are Mallard and Shelduck.

    The Shelduck are beautiful. I also like how you captured the brilliant orange of the Mallard's feet.

    Mallards are so common-- it's easy to take their beauty for granted. Nice pictures of all.

    Delightful images of these two species, Margaret - species that people often overlook as being too common. They deserve better!

    I don't believe I've ever seen a shelduck. We have plenty of mallards in Virginia, though.
