Portavoe Reservoir

I am still sharing photographs I took in Northern Ireland before my knee injury.  These photographs were taken at Portavoe Reservoir and are Mallard and Shelduck.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.
I appreciate your visit and comments.

I may not be able to comments as much as I am away from home.
Stay safe.

  1. The Shelduck are beautiful. I also like how you captured the brilliant orange of the Mallard's feet.

  2. Mallards are so common-- it's easy to take their beauty for granted. Nice pictures of all.

  6. Delightful images of these two species, Margaret - species that people often overlook as being too common. They deserve better!

Portavoe Reservoir looks rather beautiful too.

Take good care - best wishes - - - Richard

  9. I don't believe I've ever seen a shelduck. We have plenty of mallards in Virginia, though.
