WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Birds That Visit My Garden

These are some of the birds that I have photographed from inside my home, through my window into the back garden. In order they are Robin, Jackdaw, Magpie, Chaffinch, Dunnock, Collared Dove, Wood Pigeon, Greenfinch, Blackbird (M & F),Goldfinch, Great Tit. Goldcrest, House Sparrow, Herring Gull, Hooded Crow, Coal Tit, Starling, Rook and even a Feral Pigeon.  Enjoy.

I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the birds that visit my garden.  I am pleased that recently a Song Thrush and a male and female Blackcap have been visiting often.

I am linking this post with WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

Thanks for your visit and also to all who leave comments.

  2. The Goldcrest is a wonderful achievement. There are some here but even without leaves on the bushes I haven't managed a picture.

  10. You have wonderful yardbirds Margaret! LOL -- you really don't have to go on long trips, you could just stay home for wonderful birding. (But seriously, I am very glad you do both and share your trips as well as your wonderful yard.) Thanks for all!!!

(I thought about you when I posted my latest squirrel picture and about how grateful I was for all the research you did about my earlier mushroom-eating squirrel. Thank you again for that.)

  12. Very fine bunch there--- In the 25 years or so we've lived in our present home, only once have we seen some really bizarre HUGE pigeons. That was probably 10 years ago, and I still have no idea what they were.
