This plant or least the bud you see here is called Beschorneria yuccoides and I photographed it at Mount Stewart Gardens. I have taken this image and played around with it, so is there one of the images that you like more that the other? Enjoy.
Have you a favourite? If so, let me know.
Many thanks for visiting and also to all those who leave comments.
The 1st pic is my favorite! Beautiful flower!
ReplyDeleteAren't they stunning? I have photos of them in the wild in New Zealand. You certainly had some fun with photoshop.
ReplyDeletethey all are a delight, but the last one is special
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret, gorgeous flower and lovely images. Enjoy your day and week ahead!
ReplyDeleteLove them all!
ReplyDeleteOh, that last one is really neat, though by itself you wouldn't know what it is!
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty and grace abounds!
ReplyDeleteFine photos of this colorful flower. Like them all, but I especially like your macro shots #2, #4, & #5.
ReplyDelete2nd is great
ReplyDeleteLovely shape bloom & the colour is very pretty. The second is probably my favourite though they're all great.
ReplyDeletethey're all lovely, but the first is masterful. Well done.
ReplyDeleteOoh, I like your last image! Very creative!
ReplyDeleteI think I may have to choose the second picture as my favourite, but truthfull,I like them all.
ReplyDeleteWow, Margaret magnificent flower and beautiful pictures.
ReplyDeleteGreetings.
I like the first ... and the last. Proving that I have a sort-of split personality! I like the beautiful real one -- with the gorgeous colors and the perfect picture of the gracefulness of this flower. But I also like the dream-like play that you did at the end. Fun! I have to admit that black and white is not my favorite (any time, not just your pictures). I am old enough to remember when that is all we had and I love color!!!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the first one, surrounded by the foliage. I guess I like the "big picture." Interesting effect to the last one, very artsy.
ReplyDeleteWell that was fun. Of course the 1st one shows the bud in it's true state but I did like your other edits. That last one was quite abstract but cool looking.
