FRIDAY'S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

Since yesterday was the Queen’s 90th Birthday, what better way to celebrate that than to show you what I found at my sister in law, Phyllis’ home.  Before I show you, let me tell you that this week’s word prompts are the
letter Q, a favourite photograph and at rest.

This is the card that my brother and Phyllis were sent on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary from the QUEEN.

Phyllis also had this commemorative mug for when
the QUEEN has her Silver Jubilee in 1977.

Below are all photographs taken at Blessingbourne House, Co Tyrone and include reflections which I thought you might find a FAVOURITE among and further on, one of the owner’s horses and peacocks both AT REST.  Enjoy.

I hope you manage to find a FAVOURITE image among these photographs I have shown you today.

I am linking this post with WEEKEND REFLECTIONS and FRIDAY’S HUNT.

Many thanks for your visit and also to all those who leave comments.

  1. Lovely photos today Margaret. You know, I'm sure we have the exact same mug that you show. Only ten more years and we may get the same letter!

  2. I had managed to forget about the Queen. Good to see that you didn't. How much longer can the monarchy survive?

  9. Good Morning, Margaret! Gini and I apologize for being away lately. Life occasionally interferes with things we would much rather be doing.

What a lovely collection of images! The boat docks are so idyllic and remind me I must go fishing soon. The resting horse and peacock remind me it would be nice to take a nap.

We hope your upcoming weekend will be filled with beauty, joy and peace!

  12. Long Live the Queen ... I remember her Coronation way back when. How amazing that she has just turned 90. That has to be my favorite picture even though I am over here to look at your many lovely reflections. Love the lazy horse and Peacock too. Fun pictures, Margaret :)

  14. Now that she's 90, it's easy to forget she was quite lovely as a young woman. And... lazy horse, lazy peacock! Fun to see.

  22. I love the peacock at rest. Very timely that Q came at the same time as the Queen's birthday. I lived in
England at the time of the coronation and have a mug that was given to the children to commemorate it.
