Castle Espie

I am continuing to show you photographs over 2 weeks when a small group of birders and myself visited the WWT called Castle Espie in April.  This is the beautiful African Comb duck.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

Unfortunately I will not be commenting for a while due to a final diagnosis of my shoulder problem - Parsonage Turner Syndrome which is a rare condition and typing does not help the pain I am experiencing.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  2. I've never seen one like that either. I wonder why they developed the comb...

  3. Margaret, thank you for introducing me to another bird new to me. There are so many varieties of ducks, and this is a fine looking one.

  4. Just read for first time about your shoulder problem. Ouch! Hope you get some relief from the pain. That's a strange name for a shoulder issue. Must be a story behind it.
