Roughly for the next 2 weeks I will be showing you photographs of  ducks and geese when a small group of birders and myself visited the WWT called Castle Espie in April. The images, are Smew, Cinnamon Teal, Shoveler and Rosybill ducks

I am linking to THROUGH MY LENS.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

Unfortunately I will not be commenting for a while due to a final diagnosis of my shoulder problem - Parsonage Turner Syndrome which is a rare condition and typing does not help the pain I am experiencing.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  1. Wow---- the Smew is a new on me! I'm sorry you are still experiencing difficulties--- Somehow I will know when you are visiting....

  2. Thank you for these beauties.
Now rest up and hopefully get your shoulder on the up and up.

  3. Hello Margaret,
Beautiful shots of the ducks. I really love the Smew! I am sorry you are in pain, I hope your shoulder feels better soon! Take care, have a happy new week!

  4. Margaret, I am very sorry for your illness. I will be praying for you your pain, and for your doctors and treatment. I read a bit about the PTS and how, although an X Chromosome situation, it can be induced with falling. So very sorry for that as well. One article said that walking can be a useful therapy for it?
I will keep checking here. Thank you for showing us your pretty bird pictures.

  5. Thank you for the photos. Some of these ducks are new to me. Always good to learn something.

  6. The Smew, WOW!!! I have never heard of it, but gosh it is amazing looking!! I am so sorry about your diagnosis, but glad they finally figured it out. I am off now to look it up.

  7. Sorry to hear that you still have so much pain. I did enjoy these pictures.

  8. Ducks are a favorite here, and all of these are splendid!
