As you know (if you have been following my journey on
this trip), it took all of last week’s posts to cover about 7 hours from my
home to White Park Bay where I was spending the night. Many thanks to all who told me whether or not they would have crossed the Carrick-a-Rede bridge with me. It was great fun to know.
Having had an eventful day, I decided to relax, made my meal (which I had mostly made at home and brought in my cool box) sat down at a huge window overlooking the bay with a glass of wine and drink in the beautiful scene and watch the waves. What better way to finish a wonderful day. My bedroom was as good as any hotel bedroom with an ensuite. Very clean and comfortable and they even had free Wi fi. These are the shots I took before retiring.

Thank you for visiting and also for leaving comments on
any of my posts.
Tomorrow, I will show you photographs that I took when
I walked down to the beach early morning before I had my breakfast. It was a marvelous start to the day.
What a glorious end to a magical day - and set of posts. Thank you.
ReplyDeletethat wind down at the end of a day in a special place is 'sweet' - great for the memories and you have such lovely photos too. I had been away myself and shared some 'sunrise' photos http://snaphappyonline.blogspot.com.au/2014/05/sunrise-and-silhouettes.html on the journey home.

Beautiful snaps. Nice progression from, so fierce to somewhat mellow!
ReplyDeletePeace :)
Now that is a view that is priceless.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sunsets! Did you not say that you were staying in a Youth Hostel? The way you describe your room is not at all what I expected it to be ... what a wonderful surprise (to me, you probably knew what to expect). What a great way to end that wonderful day of birding. (And bridge crossing...for which you definitely deserved that glass of wine (not that I need that excuse ;>)!
ReplyDeleteI think you found paradise -- a good meal, a glass of wine and these scenes from your window. Gorgeous.
