These
are not many animals on Tory Island however this first dog must have taken a
shine to me and followed me quite a distance from his small town nearly to my
hotel. I then told him to go home and he
did! (much to my surprise)
Although
this dog has a long fur coat,
you can see just how windy it was on Tory Island.
These
are more images of the geese I showed you on Thursday.
This
is the only cat I saw.
Perhaps, if they
had any sense, they were all indoors!
I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Many
thanks for visiting and also to those who leave comments.
Cute set of sheepdogs, geese and the special kitty!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Margaret!!
Have a Wonderful Weekend!
Peace :)
I'm always entranced by the Puffin's eye and bill. The dogs seem friendly, I'm wondering if the geese are friendly, I understand some geese are not, but chase intruders. Cats seem generally friendly or at least not aggressive. She seems to be guarding her lighthouse. The neighbor's dogs used to come over but if I pointed and said, "Go home!" they would surprise me and go.
ReplyDeleteLove the critters. And almost every cat I have ever known is comfort loving so they probably were hunkered down somewhere warm.
ReplyDeleteThey are lovely critters.

The geese are my favorite. I am not a dog person so I sort of skipped over them but when I got to the cat... now, that's my kind of animal.

This really has been a great series of shots! Loved the cat with his own lighthouse.
ReplyDeleteA nice variety of animals on Tory Island and yes, I can imagine it would be windy. We get wind off of our lake all of the time. I don't know what it is about water that causes that. Love them all, Margaret.
