Well, no one guessed correctly about what critter I am posting about today so I hope no one is disappointed however thanks to all those who sent in their guesses. I appreciated all of them. I found these 2 Llamas in Donegal when I was staying with my friend Trish after I left Tory Island. One is called Peaches and the farmer hoped she was in foal, the other Llama was Fred. You will see both on the video at the end of this post.
Trish also took photographs of me in the field and I will show you these some other time. I thank her for the first image on this post.
I don’t think I need say anymore although I was going to put narration under some of the close ups. Perhaps you may some suggestions?
I have to say the close ups of the Llamas teeth really
made me smile and I hope it did you as well.

Beautiful things. Wouldn't a dentist have a field day with them. Braces like never before...
ReplyDeleteA local gentleman takes his llamas to nursing homes and the hospice to interact with the residents. They sometimes come to funerals as well. And are very welcome.

DeleteThat's cheating Margaret you said 'wee critter' they're huge lol, just kidding. The teeth are funny it's the first thing I noticed oddly. Glad to see they're friendly too
ReplyDeleteHI Douglas Just checked and I never say 'wee' however it is funny you mentioned that word becaue over here, everyone puts that word infront of saying something and I HATE that. I agree, the teeth are reaslly funny and when they got used to me, Fred came over for a cuddle. Have a lovely weekend.
DeleteYou didn't my mistake I apologise....I'm having one them days.
DeleteThat's a beautiful photo of you with one of the Llamas. They are beautiful and looks gentle. I too smile at the close up photos of their teeth. I think Fred took a liking to you! Happy weekend!

ReplyDeleteWhat fun! Adorable animals thes llamas, thank you for sharing them Margaret.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos of these wonderful animals! And the countryside is beautiful! I can't help repeating myself, but when I see your photos, I think it truly is the "Emerald Isle." There is something about the green in Ireland; it looks so plush. It's green where I am, too, but not like that.
ReplyDeleteThey are so sweet, similar to my alpaca, I love speeding time with both!
ReplyDeleteI like Lama especially when it "smile".

ReplyDeleteI love llamas! Have you ever touched so soft a creature? And, those eyes! I am just entrances by them... the way they move... the way they smell you... the way their front lips part like fingers to take a carrot... interesting creatures. blessings ~ tanna

ReplyDeleteDelightful images and video. It seems Peaches was more interested in interacting with people than eating out of the bucket! Thanks for your sweet comments on our granddaughter's post!
ReplyDeletethey're cute but goofy, too. :)
ReplyDeleteFantastic series of Lama's images.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning!
ReplyDeleteYou have the most wonderful pictures on here, especially these amazing llamas.......and the bird on your Header! I am a bird lover as well, and often see the red headed woodpecker at a trail that I walk on. They fascinate me when they are in motion. Me and my daughters also love photography. We would love for you to visit us and follow, and I would certainly come back and follow you as well. It would be such a pleasure to come back and see more of your amazing pictures. They are colorful and filled with beauty and life! I hope to hear from you, and have a sweet day.
