FRIDAY'S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS

Once again I am linking to Fridays hunt and  Weekend Reflections. The prompts this week are the letter X, Favourite and Lights.  My word for X is XOCOLAATI.  What, I hear you say!  Let me explain.  That word is made up from the words ’XOCOC’ meaning sour or bitter and ‘ati’ meaning WATER or drink and means chocolate.  Here, bet you didn't know that!  However my story today is more about compassion for others that are less fortunate than any of us.  This is my FAVOURITE image.

It was my daughter’s 47th birthday when I was on the Isle of Wight a few weeks ago and she wondered what she could do for the woman of Syria and Iraq and to encourage others to do the same and at the time have fun.  What else but to have a ‘Chocolate Fountain and Fondue Party’.  She handed out numerous coloured bags with instructions on what to fill them with for ladies.  This is Gillian sitting surrounded by 40 filled bags and more to come.

I even managed, inadvertently, I may say, to get a REFLECTION image.

When I did the letter X previously, I explained the history about chocolate and  you can read what I said about it on this post link.

I leave you with one image I took at the Victoria Centre in Belfast with plenty of Christmas LIGHTS.

I am linking with FRIDAY'S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.

Many thanks for visiting and also for all your comments.
