Birds at Lake at Ryde, Isle of Wight

There is a man made lake in Ryde on the Isle of Wight and as I drove past   these Mute Swans, ducks, mainly Mallards and a Coot I photographed them.

    The first picture is simply beautiful! And the coot is so puffed up, wonder if it was cold that day?

    My what big feet you have Mr. Swan ... I would be hard pressed to afford shoes for him :) A nice selection of birds on a man made lake. Our water birds are basically gone as our lake froze two nights ago ... before the eagles had shown up. I guess I will have to wait until spring to see the eagles ... sigh!
