I took my bird group to the Belfast Wow RSPB centre and we found it practically all frozen and not many birds. These shots are not great but all I could manage in very dull conditions. The ducks at Teal and there was a female Pheasant feeding, unusually at the feeder, a good number of other adult and young Morhens and 2 Redshank. Other than that there were Gull and Lapwing flew overheard. I am linking to SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Many thanks for visiting and also for leaving any
comments.

The pheasant eating from the feeder is quite something! I have never seen such a thing. And the way your pictures look...the color etc. I looks kind of artistic, like an art style.
ReplyDeleteLove the pheasant at the feeder!
ReplyDeleteThey have such interesting touches of color! And I love the pheasant eating too!
ReplyDeleteLove the birds but it looks too cold :-) Makes me glad I moved to Australia :-)

ReplyDeleteThe ducks are beautiful, I can really see why they are named "Teal."
ReplyDeleteWonderful waterbirds. The first photo looks like a fine art watercolor painting.
ReplyDeleteLovely set of photos
ReplyDeleteSo funny to see the pheasant at the feeder! Smart bird. Reminds me of the grouse that sometimes visits the feeders at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology's live webcam-- have you seen that? The lab is the folks who run eBird, Feederwatch, and other good citizen science projects plus the feedercams. They're in Ithaca, New York (United States) so you should check them out online if you haven't already. Birds are so funny.
