As most of you know I am in Malawi with my daughter
Judith and her family and for this Friday’s Hunt I have chosen the letter C to CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS with friends and family.
These shots were taken at a CANDLELIGHT
service at their CHURCH on CHRISTMAS Eve. Our family are CHRISTIANS and at this time of the year we remember the true meaning
of CHRISTMAS and the COMING of Jesus CHRIST as a baby and later when He was CRUCIFIED for all our sins.
Below, Jon, my son in law is playing the bass guitar.
The rest of these photos were taken on CHRISTMAS Day and Annika is showing me
the COVER of her new book and Daniel is showing me his new CALVIN KLEIN boxer shorts.
The last shot was taken at breakfast time. Note we have CUTLERY and CUPS on the beautiful African tableCLOTH which is laden with COOKED
food. Notice the REFLECTIONS of the bars on the floor. They are all my FAVOURITES
this week.
I am linking this post with Friday's Hunt and Weekend Reflections.
Many thanks for visiting and also for all your comments.

ReplyDeleteLovely table settings! We went to church on Christmas Day. For safety reasons we each held small LED flashlights instead of candles
ReplyDeleteBest wishes for the New Year!
Celebrating Christmas with the family. It doesn't get any better.

ReplyDeletePrecious memories in the making! Wishing you a blessed 2017 Margaret.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful table! But how strange seeing a swimming pool! It surely must be hot there! Your candlelight service looks like ours! At the end of our Christmas Eve service, we all stand around in a big circle, turn the lights off, and each one lights their candle as we sing Silent Night.
