This week Friday’s Hunt is the letter Z and I have an image
of a Zebra that I photographed at Kruger National Park, Africa, Favourite and Holidays. Well that was not too difficult as I am on HOLIDAYS in Malawi. Every Christmas it is traditional in our home to make a Gingerbread House so I bought 2 kits in Northern Ireland and took them for my 2 grand Children in Malawi and the day after I arrived them made them.
Every ZEBRA has unique strips and there are 3 different species in the world.
Plain, Grevy's and Mountain.
This
is Annika above with her Gingerbread House and Daniel below with his.
The
REFLECTION shot was taken of me by Daniel when I was in a very small pool they have at
their home where I was trying to cool off.
I am linking this post with Fridays Hunt and Weekend Reflections.

Many thanks for visiting and also for all your comments.
Great zebra shots! Did you know the stripes are not just on their fur, they are on their skin! Your grandchildren are the CUTEST!!! They are divine, with their freckles and gorgeous copper hair.
ReplyDeleteA great series. I hope you are able to cool off, and that you all have a wonderful, wonderful Christmas.
ReplyDeleteThe gingerbread houses are works of art. Annika and Daniel are good-looking kids. You must be very proud of them.

ReplyDeleteGingers with gingerbread houses, I love it. Merry Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHe's a magnificent zebra. Your grandchildren are adorable and I'm sure they loved making their gingerbread houses. Merry Christmas to you
ReplyDeleteA delightful series of images, Margaret - the zebra is spectacular, and your "grandies" are looking suitably happy with their clever efforts. Reckon I'd enjoy cooling off in a pool right now - it's 35.4C at present and 40C is expected tomorrow! May you enjoy a special celebration of the "real reason for the season" with your loved ones.
ReplyDeleteFabulous, have a cool Yule!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful zebra! The kids looks charming. Happy holidays!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to see zebras at Christmas time! I would certainly be trying to cool off in a pool if I were there too. Here, it has been in the -20 to -30 C range, so no pool for me at present! I hope you had a lovely holiday.
ReplyDeleteGreat zebra! I didn't realize there are three different kinds. The gingerbread houses turned out adorable! How nice to have a pool to cool off. Thank you for joining in Friday's Hunt. Hope you have a great new year!
