Bangor Walled Garden (Part 2)

On Monday I published part 1 of this two hander showing you the wonderful Sculpture Exhibition when I visited Bangor Walled Garden in June. CLICK HERE if you missed it.  It is well worth seeing.  Grab a cup of coffee, sit back and feast your eyes on the flamboyant flowers that I present to you totay.

OK, I forgot to tell you we were also walking round the garden with some of my Nursing friends so let’s go.

Myosotidium Hortensia

Chatham island
Forget-me-Not  Chatham Islanda

The more formal part of the garden and

which is now in August a blaze of colour.

I think this little guy is following me!

Can you see the flower head on the left is enormous in comparison to the one on the right.

This is the vegetable area and every Saturday they harvest the produce and sell it to the public.  Everything is all organically grown.

These are Apricots ready for picking in the greenhouse.
No,Don't touch!

I hope you enjoyed seeing the many different flowers.  I did take more close ups, however I think I have given you enough photographs today to be on going on with for a while.

Before I leave you today, I have to show you one last image. It is of my cousin who was 100 years old on 6 August.  Gladys Douglas.  She lives in Port Arthur, Canada.  That is her nephew David and his grandson Jasonwith her .

Thanks for visiting and also to those who leave coments.
