This is the skipper of the rib that we were going to sail
over to the Ailsa Craig Island. There
were seven of us along with the skipper and his wife. I suppose you could say, "we were fenced in". The sea was relatively fine however there was a very heavy mist as you will see next week when i show you various videos of the journey and birds seen.
I am linking this post with GOOD FENCES.
Many thanks for all the comments you leave on this post.
You were indeed fenced in.
ReplyDeleteIt looks as if you are catching the wrong boat.......This one is going to St Kilda or maybe Hirta.
ReplyDeleteHI Adrian Stick with me on the journey and you will see I end up at Ailsa Craig!
DeleteAdrian was sharp there! I look forward to the video and photos of birds seen.
ReplyDeleteI like the look of that boat. A fun take on Good Fences.
ReplyDeleteIt is a cute little boat, I hope the water was calm! Great shots, Margaret! Enjoy your day!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. The boat looks kind of tiny for nine people.
ReplyDeleteit does look a bit small, but as long as it got you there and back. :)
ReplyDeletethat would be a great trip to make though I might prefer a sturdier boat! Very brave of you: hope it wasn't too rough!
ReplyDeleteThis looks like an interesting boat ride! Nice stone wall and green grass!
ReplyDeleteDid you feel crowded? Sounds like an interesting trip.
ReplyDeleteGood morning Margaret......very interesting indeed! Hope all went well and that you stayed {somewhat} dry.
ReplyDeleteBlessings to you...
Looks really small for all those people. Looks like you had a great trip!
ReplyDeleteLooks like tight quarters! But I'm sure the journey was worth it.
ReplyDeleteAlthough the weather was overcast I hope you enjoyed your day.
ReplyDeleteBises - Cath
I prefer a larger boat, as I get sea sick real easy.
ReplyDeleteI just caught up on all three posts for your trip to Alisa Craig Island. What a beautiful locale! Really enjoyed your video. The dipper and wagtail are a joy to see. I like the look of that rib and would love to take that trip!
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed day, Margaret!
Now that a neat interpretation of being "fenced in." - Looks like you were all ready to head out and have some fun.
ReplyDeleteAh, I love that Puffin header!
ReplyDeleteIt is a dream, it looks like a wonderful life, I love it.
ReplyDeleteTruly fenced in, great shots.
ReplyDeletepeter
I think I'd like a bigger boat too! ;-))
ReplyDeleteA cozy fenced in boat. But if you were with good friends, I'm sure it was a great time had by all.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. cm
I got a bit seasick just looking at the boat.... Nicely documented.
ReplyDeleteDoes the skipper need some coffee? :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to your pictures from your trip...
Have a Beautiful Day, Margaret!
Peace :)
Very clever for today, mist and fog can make for some beautiful images!!!!
ReplyDeletealways love a great adventure :)
ReplyDeleteLooks like a fun journey, good that the seas weren't rough.
ReplyDelete~
Makes me smile! Looks like a real adventure on a chilly day.
ReplyDeleteA trip to a UK offshore island is always exciting Margaret. I used to love going off to Bardsey Island in the knowledge that a day or two delay in getting back would not be the end of the world.
ReplyDeleteQuite a small boat.
