We are continuing our walk around Kiltonga Wildlife
Reserve and today I have two sets of Greylag geese and a surprise I found among them to
show you on the VIDEO below. Do you spot the Heron and Black backed gulls? I hope you enjoy it as much as my bird class and I did watching their movements.

ReplyDeleteThey are so lovely...we have Canadian geese around here and I enjoy visiting them at a local creek or hearing their honking as they fly over :)

I enjoyed seeing the geese following closely and making curves back and forth. I like the reflections of the white tails with the black streak across on the water, too, and the goslings are cute.

Wonderful post, Margaret. I think the Greylag geese are beautiful. Liked seeing the goslings too. So funny the way they swam in a single line. Great video.

ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, I enjoyed this video very much. Love to watch them swimming in line behind their leader and also to watch the rebels swimming out of line too. Lovely reflection of the leader as it swims towards you. The goslings are cute too, I noticed their head feathers are different from the adults'.
