SATURDAY CRITTERS - Camel in Israel (Part 7)

I was not going to miss an opportunity of being in Jerusalem and not ride a Camel so you may all have a laugh particularly at the close up of my face  (2nd shot) when I was trying to get the camel in its feet!

Have you stopped laughing yet!  I am Irish and have broad shoulders!

I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.

Thanks for your visit today.

Many thanks for everyone who leaves comments.

  1. I think that Camels are elegant beasts. My partner went on a five day camel safari in Morocco, and I gather the ride left him some interesting bruises. And that he smelt fairly special by the end.

  2. I passed on the camel in Oman when my girls rode, but I did ride the elephant in Malaysia. I had the same expression on my face.

  4. Dearest Margaret; Wow, what a fun experience♡♡♡ I GOT jealous seeing wonderful experience and your happy expression enjoying the ride; wondered getting the camel in its feet would be hard or just kick lightly :-)

  9. OMW I love the expression on your face. I also rode a camel in the Nubian desert, Sudan. What an uncomfortable ride but a great adventure. Thanks for sharing. Blessed Passover to you. Jo

  10. Oh no, I won't stop laughing especially that these photos remind of my own trip 40 years ago, also in Israel where we spent a whole day out in the desert with the camels and ate Pitah bread baked under the sand for lunch!
Riding a camel is so different from riding a horse and once you get the hang of it is very comfortable!!
I bet you too had a very special time!!
    I loved this post :)
    Enjoy your Easter weekend too!

  21. How fun that would be to ride a camel, but maybe a little scary for me. You are brave. I've enjoyed your trip to Israel, I have yet to get there. I'm also of Irish and I think Scotch descent.
