ReplyDeleteA great series! Wonderful birds. I like the pose of the Greylag Geese :)
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret, what a great variety of birds.. I love the robin and the goose.. Great shots. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteYou see more birds in a day than I do in a year! And every picture is perfect. What a beautiful place. Your robin is sweet and quite different from ours.
ReplyDeleteMargaret, thank you for popping by my blog and commenting I really appreciate it. I do miss the birds of my childhood, as although we have similar species, not all birds are the same, for example the Robin. The Robin in North America looks nothing like the Robin from Great Britain. You took some wonderful photos there. Have a super day.
ReplyDeleteGill in Canada
You have a great variety today. How fun.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures Margaret.
ReplyDeleteI love the geese.
love the handsome geese. :)
ReplyDeleteYou did a remarkably job on all the photos. I love the Robin red breast.
ReplyDeleteThose geese are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteGreenfinch...another new birdie to me.
ReplyDelete~
The Greenshank and Greylags are my favorites today. We have Greylags here, but your pictures are exceptional!!
ReplyDeleteLove that Greylag Geese with its orange beak.
ReplyDeleteSome adorable beaks and plumes.
ReplyDeleteI learned about some more birds today, Margaret.
Thanks for sharing these with all of us.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)
Great photos of all the birds. I especially like the Greenshank in plumage colors and patterns I don't see down here.
ReplyDeleteThat's a great looking Greenshank. I do love waders.
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful goose reminds me of Mother Goose nursery rhymes. =) blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteA lovely selection Margaret. A Greenshank is still on my wanted list for this year.
ReplyDeleteWhen I see a group of birds like this, it makes me want to move out there.
ReplyDeleteWonderful set. The Greylag is a beautiful goose.
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, you saw all these birds in the same place? I want to go where you go. These are wonderful and there are several in there that I have never heard of. My brain overfloweth with new information. Thanks, Margaret ... a great post.

ReplyDeleteGreat images Margaret, I really like the Buzzard and Greenshank
ReplyDeleteYou have a good selection of pictures there Margaret. I'm really impressed that you managed to get the Greenshank. I find them incredibly hard to approach.
ReplyDeleteExcellent variety of birds at the sanctuary Margaret!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I enjoyed the interesting post of the garlic farm in the previous post too.
The Black-headed Gulls will be feeling left out :-)
ReplyDeleteGreat captures. Love the geese. They look like what I get when my Embden and African geese breed.
ReplyDeleteso, that is where they are? They flew your way and not mine :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos! I LOVE the geese!
ReplyDeleteNice collection of birds - and there are a couple of species there that I see most days!
