I
was not going to miss an opportunity of being in Jerusalem and not ride a Camel
so you may all have a laugh particularly at the close up of my face (2nd shot) when I was
trying to get the camel in its feet!
Have
you stopped laughing yet! I am Irish and
have broad shoulders!
I
am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Thanks for your visit today.
Many thanks for everyone who leaves comments.
I think that Camels are elegant beasts. My partner went on a five day camel safari in Morocco, and I gather the ride left him some interesting bruises. And that he smelt fairly special by the end.
ReplyDeleteA critter for ride.
ReplyDeleteI passed on the camel in Oman when my girls rode, but I did ride the elephant in Malaysia. I had the same expression on my face.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I've tried riding a camel in Marocco and I'm greatful there are no photos of it. Happy Easter, Margaret!
ReplyDeleteDearest Margaret; Wow, what a fun experience♡♡♡ I GOT jealous seeing wonderful experience and your happy expression enjoying the ride; wondered getting the camel in its feet would be hard or just kick lightly :-)
ReplyDeleteSending Lots of Love and Hugs from Japan to my Dear friend, xoxo Miyako*

ReplyDeleteOMW I love the expression on your face. I also rode a camel in the Nubian desert, Sudan. What an uncomfortable ride but a great adventure. Thanks for sharing. Blessed Passover to you. Jo
ReplyDeleteOh no, I won't stop laughing especially that these photos remind of my own trip 40 years ago, also in Israel where we spent a whole day out in the desert with the camels and ate Pitah bread baked under the sand for lunch!
ReplyDeleteRiding a camel is so different from riding a horse and once you get the hang of it is very comfortable!!
I bet you too had a very special time!!
I loved this post :)

ReplyDeleteSo funny! But what I love is your big smile when the camel is getting up! You are a brave woman, I think! Did anything hurt the next day?
ReplyDeleteI'm not laughing because I think you are brave to get on that animal. I likely would not have.
ReplyDeleteYou go girl! Not a bit of laughing at you, just smiling because you are such a good sport. I'm a little envious though!
