This is the only pond on this Copeland Island and can
be seen from the window where the sink is ans as the weather was bad I did a
lot of looking out of it and I did get a quick glimpse of the Water Rail
running for cover once. Enjoy the reflections in the pond.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the pond onthe island and
tomorrow, as promised earlier in the week, I will show you shots and video of Fulmars courting.
I am linking this post with WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.
Many thanks for your visit and also to all who comments.
What a shame Margaret. I can empathise having spent many hours in the Bardsey Island Obs during wet and windy weather. Next time will be better for you - I just know it.

ReplyDeleteI love the shot of the small pond with the big ocean beyond. It is bluer than blue. And the stone wall and entryway, too. It is enchanting.
ReplyDeleteGreat reflections of a lovely spot. Looks like there's a lot of history there with old stone wall. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, great reflections, my favorite is the last one.
ReplyDeleteNature gifts us with so many views, and everyone is rewarding. You do a perfect job in sharing such lovely scenes, no matter what the weather.
ReplyDeleteHaving that kind of view while standing at the sink would make even doing dishes enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteThe still water offers up some great reflections. Have a good week.
