I was on the Copeland Island all weekend with no internet access so I am sorry I was not able to view any Weekend Reflections or Saturday Critters posts or to make comments. Unfortunately, on Coplenad, the winds were very strong and we did not get any ringing done however I do hope to show you photograpphs as soon as I have them processed.

ReplyDeleteThere's a large colony on the Tagus Estuary right in front of Lisbon but I never managed to see just one! :-) On the other hand I've watched thousands on the Rift Lakes in Kenya. They are such wonderful birds!

ReplyDeleteVery beautiful!!! I have only seen the Chilean Flamingos. And at that point, I wasn't even a birder. I hope to see them and all the others again someday in better detail. They are such unique birds.
