Now
on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb early, while it
was still dark, and saw that the stone had been removed from the tomb.
So she ran and went to Simon Peter and
the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them,
"They have
taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid
Him"!
Upon this, Peter and the other disciple came out and they went toward the
tomb.

Thank
you for visiting and to those who have followed the series the past 8 days and also left comments.
May God bless you today.
Women seem a little left out in the last moments of Jesus' life, but it is so wonderful to me that the first person to see Him resurrected was Mary Magdalene, who was forgiven of so much, and loved Him so much.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this wonderful series of posts from your trip to the Hold Land a few years back.
A friend of mine visited last year, however it is a risky part of the world now and much as we would love to visit, we wouldn't feel safe.
To make up for it we are visiting Southern Ireland this year on our way to see our family in France!
I'm sure it will be a more peaceful experience. My father was born there and came out to New Zealand when he was 11years old, so it is time I visited my roots!
