SATURDAY CRITTERS - Cowes, Isle of Wight.

My daughter Gillian works as a nurse in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight so I decided to with her and go over on the chain ferry to Cowes, those photographs will have to wait for another post because today I am showing you all the critters I saw along the sea front.

Mainly Black headed Gulls were along the seafront with a lone Mallard.

All along the front at the pillars between the fencing were large lions!

Now what was this Deer doing on top of the roof?

I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.

I hope you enjoyed the few 'critters' and thanks for visiting my post.

Many thanks for those people who kindly leave comments.

  1. What fun to come to visit and find a Black Headed Gull staring straight at ME! He seems to be a lookout! I love that wonderful deer on the roof. Everywhere you go, you find beauty, the unusual, or very interesting things!

  7. I love the huge lion and the deer on top of the roof! But the gull is my favorite. Especially the one with the slightly mottled face and quite a square stance.Brilliant! I can't wait to see the rest of the birds you saw this weekend. Blessings Jo

  12. I just love those big fat, plumped up gulls with the skinny legs. The first one has bags of character with the white sploge on his nose as well.
Love the deer on the roof, I can just imagine the hubby coming home with that one...
