Sunrise from my bedroom window

One day last week I woke early, looked out and saw this wonderful sunrise.  I grabbed my camera, opened the window and photographed these 3 shots.  It was very cold so I beat a hasty retreat as I had only my night attire on!

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Thank you for visiting and also to those who leave comments.

  6. How lovely, Margaret. We have had some beautiful morning sunrises here too. Wonder what's in the atmosphere that makes it redden up so?

  11. It was a lovely sunrise Margaret. Was the " red sky in the morning" a "shepherd's warning?".

  13. Ah, you know the saying........."red sky in morning, sailor take warning." Beautiful but does not bode well for sailors. Don't know how true this is but it's what I've heard.

  14. Amazing Margaret. Sunrise and sunset are the best times for scenic shots.

  18. Really gorgeous sunrise shots, Margaret. I am just now getting to the comments posted on my "A Few More Critters" post of a couple of weekends ago and wanted to tell you that the video of the Tarantula Hawk wasp attacking the tarantula was actually not mine, but was taken from youtube. I haven't seen any tarantulas near my home since we moved here almost five years ago, and have only seen the one wasp I posted the photos of(except for some I saw at the Sonoran Desert Museum) ....so I can say that's a GOOD thing! :-)
