my walk at the Island Marina.
Many thanks for visiting and also to those who leave comments.
Good to see the LTTs.
ReplyDeletenice to see your long tailed tits. And some of the migrating ducks :)
ReplyDeleteLove them all - including the glossy black moggy.
ReplyDeleteI like the Redshank and Godwit, also the Grebe you managed to capture. Not sure which sort though.
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret, great captures! The Godwit is one of my favorites! Sorry, I have been away and using wifi has been very slow! Thanks for linking up! Happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Margaret, wonderful post of critters, I love the black cat! And your Black-tailed Godwit is a neararctic vagrant in Africa and I would LOVE to see one. I posted a link to your blog on my post today and also answered your question about the sunbird in my Friday post! Hope you're enjoying your weekend. Blessings Jo
ReplyDeleteLittle grebes are the daftest birds, like an overly buoyant rubber duck in the bath, bobbing along. How they can dive is a mystery to me!
ReplyDeleteI hope the black pussy wasn't eyeing off the beautiful birds
ReplyDeleteHello Margaret!:) Nice sighting of the Long tailed Tit and Redwing. Haven't seen one yet this year.
ReplyDeleteLovely series.......long tailed tits can be quite difficult to spot. They come to our feeder at this time of year but flit off at the first sign of movement.
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
Love the Redshank - I have never seen one before. Great photos - love the little birds in the trees.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots of birds on the tree.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE that little Blue Tit!! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteYou saw quite a few birds along the way!
ReplyDeleteThe redwings are beautiful and your shots amazing!
ReplyDeleteDo Long Tail Tits always hang up side down. I did chuckle when I say that. All the birds are wonderful and your Duck feeding video was really cute ... except maybe Mr. Swan playing rough. They can be bullies, but he did deserve his share anyway. Hope the one little Mallard made it up close enough to get a bite. Great fun, Margaret.
ReplyDeleteAndrea @ From The Sol
cute ducks and cat. i adore the long-tails.
ReplyDeleteLovin' these Margaret!!!
ReplyDeleteNature is so rewarding...as are your birds found along the way.
Beautiful birds...and that gorgeous black cat. He looks pretty fat and happy. I hope he hasn't been dining on wild birds.
ReplyDeleteHappy days, it must be spring! Lovely captures in nature.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Margaret.
ReplyDeleteLong tailed Tits I find amazing, also the cat.
A very good weekend.
Best regards, Irma
Hi Margaret,
ReplyDeleteLovely photos, particularly the Blue Tit. Such intense colors.
I did not know our Black Kitty traveled so far away. We though he only went around the neighborhood :)
Glad to note that your order of Blue Skies has been delivered also :)
Have a Super Day!
Peace :)
Absolutely stunning Margaret.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Tit with the sun on him, and the sleet cat enjoying the sun are my absolute favorites!!
ReplyDeleteall very nice photos Margaret! It looks like it was a beautiful day to enjoy a walk.
ReplyDeleteGreat set of pictures.
ReplyDeleteI've been short of time in these last few days, so tomorrow I'll see what I have been missing here, of the older posts of last week...
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile I am delighted with today's images and the video... poor swan... it wasn't easy to get a bit of bread...
Have a great sunday, Margaret
Kisses
Ana
Hi Margaret - Nice set of photos! Love the video - poor Swan could hardly get a bite with all the competition. Very fun to watch.

ReplyDeleteI love the tits, they're so cute.
ReplyDeleteNice redwing - I miss the winter thrushes - they were always something to look forward too, like swifts and swallows.
ReplyDeleteCheers - Stewart M - Melbourne

ReplyDeleteDearest Margaret; Great captures of varieties of birdies ♫♫♫ Especially, I was fascinated to see 'Black tailed Godwit' wondering how they swallow their food :-)
