I went to Belfast on St Partrick’s Day with friends
to see the film 'Still Alice' and these are a few fences I photographed as I
walked to the cinema. The parade was over so below were some of the people
coming from it.
High Court Building, Belfast.
Hope you enjoyed this post and the fun Irish shots at the end.

How did you like the movie? I've read the book and found it quite sad and a bit scary for aging. Haven't had a chance to get to the movie.
ReplyDeleteHi Yes the movie was sad but then I knew that before I went but it is life anappening more and is happening more these days. Scary.
DeleteSuch impressive buildings!!! And, I loved all the fun shots! blessings ~ tanna
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand building! St Patrick's Day is celebrated widely in the US. Even non-Irish celebrate it. For example, children would wear something green to school regardless of whether they are Irish. Even some adults wear something green all day (me included). I think it's a fun tradition.
ReplyDeleteI especially like the gates on this beautiful fence and truly did like the parade goers at the end.
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures ! I like the little girl eating ice cream! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of the building.

ReplyDeleteMargaret, loved the beautiful gates. And the building is also awesome.
ReplyDeleteThe court building is very pretty. I like the little girl with the ice-cream cone. She is dressed like a clogger. and I am guessing there WERE cloggers in the parade.
ReplyDeleteA wonderfully majestic fence! The little girl looks so sweet in her dress.
ReplyDeleteHow photographic, and the people dressed in green, fantastic.

ReplyDeleteAwesome fence sights. You found a prefect St. Patrick celebration as well.
ReplyDeleteGood looking fence and very lovely ornate gates. The hats on your revelers look very similar to those worn during our St. Paddy's Day parade in St. Paul, MN
ReplyDeleteNice fences, gates, majestic court and a lovely cinema theater.
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to like about all the good green things during St. Patrick's Day? :)
