WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - Newtown Nature Reseerve

Following on from yesterday’s post, these are some reflection images I found at Newtown Nature Reserve on the Isle of Wight. There is a video at the end showing Dark bellied Geese in flight and also feeding in a field as well as showing you the area and why the birds were disturbed.

Redshank

Little Egret

Dark bellied Brent Geese.
You will see them better if you watch the video at the end.

On the video at the beginning and in yesterday's video you will see there are thousand so birds on the water however when the canoes appear, most of the birds all disperse.

  2. Those wast fields are really dreamlike, and the birds must be enjoying their life there.

  16. There are some lovely shots in here, Margaret and the Brent geese are grazers like our own Canadian Geese. I enjoyed the video bu,t like you, was sorry to see the birds scared off by the canoes. I don't know if there is any way to avoid that, but it would be nice :)
