On
Ryde Esplanade on the Isle of Wight, there is a small lake where there are Mute
Swans, with one Black Swan, Coots, Moorhen, Mallard and Tufted Ducks, most of
which you will see below, Sorry the
lighting was not good but I hope you will enjoy them
anyway.

A marvelous series of photos. The black swan is gorgeous and on the rare occasion have seen them. The third photo from the bottom shows a fantastic display of feathers, with such great detail. Swans are such beautiful creatures. The ducks and the coot also deserve a mention. Thank you for sharing them Margaret.

ReplyDeleteHow wonderful! Black swans are not very common around here and are even in zoos. He is fine looking and seems very alone, no mate? My favorite today is the third one from the bottom...the back of the white one all fluffed out.
