While in Bembridge area on the Isle of Wight I found
a part I had not explored before. The tide was out so the birds were mostly
sleeping on the mud. The light was
fading as you will certainly see in the last shot and although I had lots more
to explore, it will have to wait for when I visit the island another time.
I
was surprised to see this white goose in the mud.
Redshank
Canada
Geese with Black headed gull.
Shelduck
This
was the only Mute Swan I saw.
Dark
bellied Brent having a bath.
This
is a panoramic shot to the right of the walkway.
Great
Black backed Gulls with Coot and ducks.
Teal
I loved the way the sun was trying to break through the dark clouds.
Thank
you for visiting and also to all those people you kindly leave comments.
I'm always surprised when I see you have some of the birds we have here in Canada, the Greater Black-backed Gull, for instance. I too like the way the sun is trying to break through the clouds in the last photo.
