WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

When  I was sitting in the grounds of St Patrick’s Church Drumbeg, this scruffy looking Robin appeared.  It is a young Robin moulting into it adult plumage and starting to show his red breast.

    Birds do look a little rough around the edges as they develop their adult plumage don't they? Still beautiful though.

    Our robins seem to stay close to mom and dad even when they pretty much have their adult plumage. But they are certainly different from yours.
