This week these photographs were taken on a day recently when 2 of my birders and I visited my old caravan to get the grass cut and then bird watched round the Dundrum and Castlewellan areas of Country Down. On our way we saw these cattle in a field when we were looking for Red Kites which unfortunately we did not see that day.

Beautiful pics
ReplyDeleteEverywhere looks so green. Two great photos of those sweet cows!
ReplyDeleteInteresting mix of cattle breads. Some I recognize, like the Black Angus, and the Belted Galloway, but the red ones might be any number of breads like Red Poll, or South Devon, or some other bread. Fine rural photos.
ReplyDeleteGrazing cattle are always such a peaceful sight.
