FUNGI

This week these photographs were taken on a day recently when 2 of my birders and I visited my old caravan to get the grass cut and then bird watched round the Dundrum and Castlewellan areas of Country Down. While looking over a wall to see some birds I spotted these 2 kinds of fungi. I do not know what they are called.

I hope you enjoyed this post today.

I appreciate your visit and comments.

  1. The second ones are like cute little mushrooms. The first one looks like some kind of iccky foam. Strange, the many forms it takes.

  6. A fungus is such a strange form of life, and comes in a huge variety. Interesting photos.

  7. Fungi are so fascinating, as long as they stay outdoors where they belong.
