WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY

Last week I showed you a young Robin at Birr Castle and this week this is the adult Robin as well as more (pretty poor) images of the 
Dipper in the river.

    Love both birds, but am blown away by the appearance of the river. It looks almost like silk.

    So sweet looking! Much smaller than the ones here. Here, we call them Robins, but what we really have is some kind of Thrush I believe. No REAL robins in the country.
