WILD BIRD WEDNESAY - Heron -EXTRA

This photograph was taken by Danny, one of my bird group.   
He saw this Heron  trying to fish in his pond, then fly up to his roof.

    Wonderful bird! I used to think I had seen 'something' when I saw a heron as a kid! Still one of my favourite birds.

    What a great photo.
    I see you have visited Malawi, I love it there, the lake is beautiful. I lived in Rhodesia for 25 years and then in South Africa for 25 years before retiring to France.
