The Great Telescope at Birr Castle (Part 2)

A final look back at the Great telescope before heading to the Science Centre. One of the major discoveries with the telescope was the spiral nature of the nebulae.  This link to the YouTube video of it is very interesting.

    Certainly fascinating. My son is a bit of an astronamy follower, maybe even a bit of a fanatic about its he would have found that very interesting.
