WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Griffin Vulture

I saw this  magnificent Griffin Vulture at the Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam.

    The vulture I'm most familiar with--- aside from the White House--- is the Turkey Vulture. This guy is a zillion times more handsome. Nice pictures!!

    I think that is the prettiest vulture I have ever seen. And they get a bad press but are very valuable birds.
