Yesterday I showed you Zebras from the Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam when I visited it recently and today it is the turn of the Bactarian Camel, Alpaca, Donkeys, Ankole Watusi Cattle and a Reindeer with only one horn. They were all shedding their coats. I am linking this post with SATURDAY CRITTERS.
Then some Groundhog further along this path busily working away.
Many thanks for visiting
and also for leaving comments.
Fabulous pictures! I did not know that camels shed. My favorite is the beaver. He sure looks like a groundhog, probably in the same family.
ReplyDeleteGinny You coujld be right. I have looked at both Beaer adn Groundhog on the internet and really cannot tell them apart but lets see if anyone else can shed any light on the matter. HAce a good weekend.
DeleteThe poor camel looks a bit motheaten.
ReplyDeleteAlways fun to visit a zoo!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week-end!
Hello Margaret, wonderful collection of zoo critters. The camel is shedding, looks weird. I am used to seeing beavers near the water. I love the alpacas. Thank you so much for linking up and sharing your post. Happy Saturday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy taking my grandkids to the zoo. Nice pics.
ReplyDeleteFine animal photos. The African cattle are amazing looking. How fine the zoo has them in their collection.
ReplyDeleteWonderful shots from zoo.
ReplyDeleteLove the animals--- and that's a groundhog. Beavers have big flat tails, and buck teeth. (Oh, there I go, talking politics again!)
ReplyDeleteThanks Bill I have changed to Groundhog. HAve a awonderful weekend
