These
Rock Sandpiper were photographed at the Artis Royal Zoo in Amsterdam. I had never seen or indeed hear of these
birds so it was lovely to see them even they were in a Zoo.
I am linking the post with Wild Bird Wednesday.
Lots more birds to show you tomorrow.

We have plenty of sandpipers on the beaches, but I don't know about the Rock ones. His feather pattern is so beautiful! And a good camouflage for being around rocks.
