FRIDAYS' HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS - Mount Stewart

Once again I am linking with FRIDAY’S HUNT and WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.  This week we are looking at the letter O, FAVOURITE image which for me if probably the first one and these reflection images were taken at Mount Stewart during the Conversations Weekend of 17/18 September.

I thought this Water Lily looked OVAL shaped and reminded me of an OPAL stone in a ring belonging to my Mum.  This is no ORDINARY lily as we will see when it is fully OPENED.

All of these fish were photographed at the weekly St George’s Market at Belfast.  They all have EYES and most are OPEN mouthed.

I hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for visiting it.

Many thanks to all who leave comments on this blog.

  5. The reflections are beautiful. Must admit not keen on all those dead fish though! The water lily is lovely - my mum had an opal ring - have a horrible feeling it has disappeared during the years she had spent in a nursing home although to be fair they did tell me to remove all her rings for safety and bring them home but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. It seemed so cruel to rob her of her wedding ring and the opal which was her favourite.
