I am
sure you are wondering when are we getting to Great Saltee Island! Well, you know when I get a camera in my
hands, shots just have to be taken so today
I am showing you some original images and then the B & W versions and you can decide which you like better.
Any favourites? If so, let me know in a comment please.
Many thanks for visiting and tomorrow we are still at Kilmore Quay however I think you will find it interesting.
Many thanks for all the commnets you leave on this post.
Five and six for me! FUN playing with edits!
ReplyDeleteI prefer most of them in colour but for some reason the second speaks loudest in black and white. Not sure why.
ReplyDeleteIt is curious !

Hi Margaret, I'm back to blog visiting after an involved week with daily tasks and of course, caring for dear little Ambrose. Thanks for your comments and concern; we think he's on the mend although still keeping him indoors. This isn't too difficult at the moment as the leg is very week (and still tender, I think) I love the last photo of rustiness and LOVE all the black-and-white images. I love them all, in fact, as I love photos of this type of subject. Blessings, Jo xx
ReplyDeleteI love rust and texture. These are really good. I personally like the colored ones, since the rust shows better.

An imaginative series of shots - in this instance I prefer the colour photos as they show the rust up so well.
ReplyDeletegreat series of images. love that first image in black and white. the rest i enjoyed in color. hope all is well. have a great day~
ReplyDeleteEach one has its own beauty. Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeletei really like these images. i did a photo shoot similar to this in a boatyard close to home, it was fun. i like them all and would not be able to choose which i like best!!!
ReplyDeleteI prefer the colour shots. I like B&W but find it needs a hell of a contrast boost to suit my taste.
ReplyDeleteHello, Margaret! Awesome series, they are all well done. Happy Wednesday, enjoy your day!
ReplyDeletePhotos always look so different when converted to black and white! Nice captures.
ReplyDeleteWeathered paint or weathered things in general can make for great photos!
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot to be said for black & white Margaret. We people with cameras neglect it at our peril. Thanks for the reminder.
