WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY - Clandeboye Estate (Part 3)

We continue today to wander round the lake at Clandeboye Estate and although often the birds were far on the other side of the lake to me, these are the best shots I could obtain of the Mute Swans, Greylag Geese, Coot and Moorhen.  There were numerous small birds however they were much to busy finding food for their chicks to stop for a photograph!  Enjoy.

Those are two Coots skimming across the lake.

I know the shots are so good today however these were the best I could get.

I am linking to WILD BIRD WEDNESDAY.

Please look in tomorrow to see the Bee garden, what was going on in the Courtyard, the Chaple and some of the gardens.

Many thanks for your visit and also to those who leave comments.

  1. So beautiful and peaceful! And the different kinds of birds all get along together, a peaceful kingdom. My favorite picture is the third one...of the birds skimming across the top of the water, like stones skipping. You even snapped the tracks.

  7. I have to say I noticed a bit of chick feeding busyness when I was in Scotland! Too fast for me too!

  13. Nothing wrong with these shots.Sometimes when the birds are far away, the picture becomes more scenic, with the bird being only part of it.

  18. I have been doing a bit of swan watching myself at Bristol docklands. They are such difficult birds to photograph, one minute they're floating beautifully down stream, the next minute they've tied themselves in all sorts of knots! I can tell you, you've done brilliantly with your shots!
