Danny, one of my bird class and I made our way down to
Kilmore Quay, Wexford, Ireland where we spent the night before meeting up with the ten other people
in our group the next morning. However that
evening I went out to see what shots I could take and I started with the The Wooden Horse Hotel where some of the group were stay however Danny and I had one of these apartments each which were very comfortable.
This
is a very small place and I headed for the beach and Marina.
Oops! Hope Danny does not take his car too close
the edge!
Tomorrow I will show you the
birds I saw at Kilmore Quay.
I am linking this post with THROUGH MY LENS.
Many thanks for visitng and also to all those who leave comments.
There used to be a superb wet fish shop there.
ReplyDeleteDon't like that last sign at all. Can you imagine that happening to someone.
ReplyDeleteThe island seems like a great place for exploration and I really like the apartment!
Thank you for linking in with "Through My Lens"!

Nice post and pics
ReplyDeleteThe apartments look very, very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteI suspect that sign gets 'souvenired' quite often. Or it would here.
Places nearby the sea are so lovely.
ReplyDeleteHave a great new week with interesting birds
PS: it's not my anniversary, but that of Our Beautiful World, where I like to join in

I oike the Dark Blue & white of the building in the 1st photo. The 2nd Marina photo looks great with the rocks in the foreground & all the small boats & fishing boats in the background. That sign certainly is one to take notice of. Pretty self explanatory Margaret.
ReplyDeletePlus when you run of the edge of the black square your car would probably get damaged when it nose dives into the black & yellow jagged lines
ReplyDeleteExcelentes fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e uma boa semana.

Lovely photos of the beach and marina (it looks very picturesque) and the apartment looks very comfortable :) Hope Danny takes care with the car!!
ReplyDeleteI always like a harbor scene and the sign is a hoot.
ReplyDeleteThose little houses are great. Would love to live in something like that.
ReplyDeletewhat a nice looking room you had to stay in. the beach looks very inviting. hope you all had a great time...
ReplyDeleteBeautiful sequence, Margaret, but take care with your car ! :)
ReplyDeletewhat a pretty beach and marina. the apartment looks cute and quite comfortable!!! and such an important sign, i hope it stays in place!!!
ReplyDeleteInteresting place. I love traveling in Ireland. The apartment looks comfortable. Looking forward to seeing your bird photos.
ReplyDeleteI love the blue of the hotel and it looks as if the little beach is very pretty! I always dread driving near a harbour or marina in case that happens in the sign,
ReplyDeleteThe Wooden House Hotel is beautiful!! I love the blue and white. It also looks very clean, and a bit spartan...uncluttered. But in an appealing way. If I was in the car with you, I think I would take one look at this sign, and throw up!
ReplyDeleteThe sign gave me a giggle-fit! I don't have a lot of giggle-fits these days. Seems a wonderful place a while.
ReplyDeleteNice blues in your photos. I would probably drive off the edge while I was trying to figure out what the sign meant :/
ReplyDeleteLooks like a cozy little place to stay. The beach and marina would be worth it! I like seeing an assortment of boats docked.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots of the beach and boats. And I love the sign!
