Today
we continue our walk of Bonchurch and East Cowes and we are heading along the beach front with houses on our left. This was a dividing wall between houses and I found it fascinating the items people had embedded into the wall.
Loved
this thick rope beautifully draped over the sea wall.

Rock wall art! This is beyond cool! Who wouldn't love to put something in the wall... then they can have their own permanent little piece of art for everyone to see. My two favorites are the cat and the small face. A wall that looks back at us!
ReplyDeleteLove that face. And the cat. Stunning. Quirky. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThese are the most unusual stonewalls I've seen and with the pieces of art inserted, they become even more fascinating! I like the thick rope loops in shadow too! Thanks Margaret!

Such an interesting and beautiful wall! Love the rope on the seawall. You have a wonderful eye for composition.
ReplyDeletethat wall is so neat with all its treasures!
ReplyDeleteOMG that is so awesome. I think the builder of the wall had to have embedded those figures in his wall. Maybe a passerby put the bottle in to spruce it up a bit ... this has the be the best fence ever :)

How interesting to see the things embedded! I know I've seen things embedded in fireplace mantles (my Dad did this) but I would want to take pics of everything in that wall! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteThat is certainly unique, but I'm not sure it is my style.
