GOOD FENCES - Bonchurch and E. Cowes (Part 4)

Today we continue our walk of Bonchurch and East Cowes and we are heading along the beach front with houses on our left.  This was a dividing wall between houses and I found it fascinating the items people had embedded into the wall.
if you missed the first 3 parts here are the link. Part 1, Part 2. Part 3.

Loved this thick rope beautifully draped over the sea wall.

Look in tomorrow for the penultimate post in this series.

I am linking this  post with GOOD FENCES.

Many thanks for visiting and also to all those who leave comments.

  1. Rock wall art! This is beyond cool! Who wouldn't love to put something in the wall... then they can have their own permanent little piece of art for everyone to see. My two favorites are the cat and the small face. A wall that looks back at us!

  3. These are the most unusual stonewalls I've seen and with the pieces of art inserted, they become even more fascinating! I like the thick rope loops in shadow too! Thanks Margaret!

  9. OMG that is so awesome. I think the builder of the wall had to have embedded those figures in his wall. Maybe a passerby put the bottle in to spruce it up a bit ... this has the be the best fence ever :)

  14. How interesting to see the things embedded! I know I've seen things embedded in fireplace mantles (my Dad did this) but I would want to take pics of everything in that wall! Hugs, Diane
